Seán Welsh

Seán Welsh is Head of Mental Health Nursing and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Salford. A registered mental health nurse, he has extensive clinical experience working with young people facing multiple disadvantages, including unmet mental health needs. Seán is a registered NMC Nurse Teacher, a Senior Fellow of Advance HE, and is currently undertaking a Professional Doctorate exploring the impact of the late diagnosis of autism and ADHD in adulthood. Outside academia, Seán is a first-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has competed at national level.
